WhiteStar Youth Football Club was founded by Abdullah Mohammed in 2003; The name Whitestar originated from the founding father’s country as the star on the club crest came from the Somalian national flag. However the Club has embraced other ethnic groups to form the club. Thus far the name Whitestar has had a dominating career ever since and has also expanded from been 1 team to have as many teams as 11 teams which tells for itself. Whitestar Youth FC is based in the heart of North London, Tottenham. We train at Park Lane Park in Tottenham. The club consists of 11 teams offering youngsters, from the ages of 6 yrs to 16 yrs of age, the chance to be involved and play football with the club profound philosophy which is to develop players and further their careers when the club feel they have reached that level to move on, the club also strive to enable the players to reach their maximum potential through the stern guidance of the coaches at the club.

The club plays at The East London & Essex Junior Football League (ELE League) based in Wanstead Flats East London (at Capel Road E7 0JU and Harrow Road Site E11 3QD). Due to our excellent running of the club it has seen the new Under 10’s crowned as League Leaders in the year 2008 and 2009 season whilst also been unbeaten in the 2011/ 12 season due to the hard-work from the coaching staff in developing the players. Whitestar U8s, U10s, U11s, and U14s have all won trophies which demonstrates the great team spirit and believe our players at the club posses as they have the believe that they can all go far and achieve great things as a team and also for the club.  The club is proud of its success so far, as our success helps the club to move in a positive direction which enables the coaches of the club to feel proud in coaching these youth’s prodigies. The fundamental principle of our status is to offer everybody in grass roots football a high-quality, safe and an enjoyable experience, which is nationally recognized in football worldwide”.

Whitestar Youth FC consists of managers and coaches, whom are qualified to FA Level 1 & 2 award and are also CRB Checked to enable the coaches to work with the players. The club can officially declare that this football club is rewarded for their excellent running, which the teams participates in every tournament available to the club, as the players are proud to represent the club at major tournaments we part take in by performing to their greatest abilities and winning trophies for the club which in return aids the club in moving forward through recognition from other clubs and scouts whom attend in pushing our players further in their careers.  The club Philosophy we undergo at this football club is to promote youth players into recognized players in the community and beyond, which Whitestar Youth FC staffs are working hard to acquire the relevant facilities that we believe can help promote the club to another level and help develop our youth players to realise their true potential and dreams of playing to the standards of professionals which is the main aim of the club to help develop these youth players. The club always try to enhance further as we are striving to work with any Sponsors whom can help the club to realise its potential and support the team to meet its needs of developing this youth players to the next level.

Whitestar Youth FC continually develops youngsters in the world of football to reach their potential as we also enable youths to reach their dreams and keep them off the streets. We at the  club are proud of our attractive style of football along with its attacking qualities which is being emulated throughout the club from Under 6’s level to Under 16’s. The club scouting networks tells for itself as we attract a lot of our players through our training retrospectives, such as training in the community park and also participating in tournaments around London to attract the right sort of players to the football club. The club helps these youths to develop into well known team players.

The clubs ethos has always been fun first to ensure all the youth players enjoy the sport regardless of their skills or potential as this is demonstrated by the enriching turn out of youths that comes training each week to develop their skills and attributes as they all strive to reach the level they believe they can compete in. The players of this football club are under insurance and Child protection scheme to enable them to play for our football club as we ensure our players are properly looked after and catered for as we have a duty of care to protect our players during injury or any discriminatory act upon the youths. The Club has in place comprehensive safeguarding procedures which meet the requirements of  The FA Safeguarding Children Rules and Government legislation to ensure the national standards for safeguarding are met and implemented throughout the Club. This includes getting the right people involved through a process of safe recruitment and training as well as promoting clear systems to deal with any issues or concerns.
